How Glaven Treats Your Daylight Data
Glaven is a moonlight-styled personal planning board for light daily intentions. This notice explains what happens to information when you mark an energy day, jot a few small things, attach a day photo, write a private note, build a monthly collage, or schedule an optional evening reminder. You can open and use Glaven without creating an account.
What Glaven Is Designed To Hold
Glaven is built around a day board, a decorative moon-phase calendar, short task lists, optional diary-style notes, optional photos for a day, and a collage review you can save to your photo library. Moon phases are visual atmosphere and calendar texture. They are not fortune telling, astrology readings, or advice about what you should or should not do.
Because the experience is personal and on-device first, most of what you create stays on the device where you installed Glaven, under that device’s ordinary storage controls.
Categories Of Information That May Exist On Your Device
Planning content you enter
- Dates you visit and the plans associated with those dates.
- Energy-day or rest-day marks and any energy self-rating you choose.
- Up to a small set of daily tasks, completion states, and related display previews.
- Optional day notes or diary text and short previews used on cards.
Media you choose to attach
- Photos you pick from your library for a day’s board.
- Collage images you generate inside Glaven and choose to export to Photos.
Settings and local operational values
- Preferences such as reminder toggles, motion reduction, theme choices, and similar controls.
- Local counters or status values needed to present optional features and keep the board consistent after relaunch.
- Flags that record whether certain system prompts (for example tracking authorization on supported platforms) have already been handled.
Technical signals created by the platform
Like many mobile apps, Glaven relies on operating-system services. Those services may process device-level signals needed to show local notifications, read or write photos you select, render the interface, or present platform privacy prompts. Glaven does not ask you to build a profile, password, or remote user account in order to plan your day.
Why That Information Exists
The purpose is practical and visible: restore your board after you leave the app, show the moon-decorated calendar for dates you care about, remember which small things you finished, keep notes and day photos where you left them, compose a monthly collage from content already on the board, and deliver an optional reminder if you turn that feature on.
We do not use your day notes or day photos to sell advertising profiles, and we do not operate Glaven as a social network that publishes your plans to other people.
Permissions You May Be Asked To Grant
- Photos / library access. Used when you import a photo for a day or save a collage. Images you add or export remain under your device and library controls.
- Notifications. Used only if you enable an optional local reminder. Reminder copy is meant for gentle planning prompts, not fortune messaging.
- App Tracking Transparency (where required). On supported iOS versions Glaven may present the system tracking authorization sheet. Your choice is stored locally so the prompt is not forced endlessly at every launch.
Declining a permission typically limits the related feature rather than blocking the whole planning board. You can change many permissions later in system Settings.
Where Information Lives And How It Moves
Day plans, settings, note files, and day photo files are designed to be stored locally using on-device storage mechanisms provided by the platform (including preference storage and app document directories). Collage generation is performed on the device from content already available to Glaven.
Glaven’s core planning loop is not built around uploading your diary or day photos to a Glaven account cloud. Fonts used by the interface are packaged with the app for display, avoiding routine font downloads during normal use. If you use platform channels outside Glaven (for example the storefront that distributed the app, device backups, or system photo sync), those channels follow their own rules and may move copies of device content according to your device and account settings with that platform.
Parties Outside The Glaven Interface
Glaven may rely on the device operating system, notification frameworks, photo frameworks, and the storefront environment that makes the app available. Those parties process information under their own notices when you interact with their systems. Glaven does not currently route your day notes through a separate Glaven-operated content-analysis backend for writing features.
If a future release introduces an optional network-connected feature that would send content off device, that feature should present a clearer in-product explanation before such a transfer becomes necessary for that feature to work.
Practical Safeguards We Rely On
We aim to keep the attack surface small by preferring local storage for personal planning content, limiting permission asks to features you actually use, and avoiding a mandatory remote account. No mobile environment can promise perfect security. Device theft, malware, unsecured backups, shared-device access, or platform vulnerabilities can still expose information stored on a phone. Protect your device lock screen and review which people can unlock the same handset.
How Long Material Remains
Planning content generally remains until you edit or remove it inside Glaven, clear relevant app data, uninstall the app, or otherwise delete stored files through device controls. Preference flags and local status values follow the same device lifecycle. Exported collages that you save to Photos become ordinary library items under your photo-library management.
Choices Available To You
- Use Glaven without creating a Glaven account.
- Skip photos, notes, or reminders if you prefer a thinner board.
- Remove a day photo from Glaven without claiming to delete every copy that may exist elsewhere on the device.
- Turn optional reminders off in settings and adjust notification permission in the system.
- Respond to tracking authorization prompts according to your preference on supported platforms.
- Clear app data or uninstall Glaven if you want local app storage removed from that installation.
